In 2020, Social Ventures Australia conducted an evaluation of our programs. Their comprehensive report highlighted that for each dollar invested, $3.60 in social value is created, demonstrating the profound impact of our services. The Social Return on Investment methodology, approved by the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network Human Research Ethics Committee, was used to measure and quantify the benefits for all stakeholders—families, children, hospitals, and volunteers.
